MY STORY
In his book, "No Mud, No Lotus" Thich Nhat Hanh tells us that the lotus flower grows through mud, undeterred by the unpleasant environment. In order to grow, we need to push through our own mud, anxiety, sadness, fear, anger, and hopelessness to get to something beautiful.
Although it may not feel this way now, we experience the most personal growth when we face hardship and suffering. My goal is to help all my clients develop the skills and inner confidence needed to face any challenges that come their way.
I have 23 years’ experience in the mental health field as a clinician and administrator. My background has been in community-based services including outpatient, partial hospitalization, and school-based programming. Over the years, I have served as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and outpatient clinic director.
PSYCHOTHERAPY AND CONSULTATION SERVICES
It takes courage to start therapy. I believe we all have an inner voice seeking health, happiness and a new way of living that often gets drowned out by anxiety, fear, anger, sadness, and trauma. A safe, non-judgmental, supportive space can help you understand this voice and make the changes needed to have the life you want. My clinical style is flexible, collaborative, person-centered and strengths-based. I incorporate the following approaches in my work:
EMDR certified
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Mindfulness
Psycho-Dynamic
I enjoy working with individuals across the life span and am comfortable with diverse populations, in particular members of the LGBTQ community. My primary goal is to help my clients bring balance and peace in everyday life.
Being in therapy is a way to begin to take care of yourself, learn about yourself. and build trust within yourself to handle life's uncertainties. As a dedicated clinician, I am invested in teaching skills to be the best version of yourself possible. Together we will help you reconnect to your inner voice and discover your true "life worth living goals."
I have over 20 years’ experience providing clinical and programmatic supervision to:
LSW, LCSW, LMFT, and LPC clinicians
Case managers, BHRS, school-based clinicians and Behavioral health workers
Supervisors and staff of outpatient and school-based programs.
Provided training and consultation to local school districts

Do I have mental health benefits?
Do I have Telehealth benefits and does the co-pay differ?
Do I have out-of-network coverage?
How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
CAN I BOOK A PHONE CONSULTATION?
Yes. I am happy to provide a free phone consultation to hear more about your needs and to see if I am a good fit for you.
DO YOU PROVIDE IN-PERSON OR TELEHEALTH SERVICES?
I currently provide in-person and Telehealth services through the simple practice platform. Please verify with your insurance provider if this is an available option.

Some people prefer to pay out of pocket instead of utilizing their insurance benefits due to the submission of diagnostic and treatment information.
Payment is due at the time of service. My fees are as follows:

90 minute session = $175
Sliding scale is available. Please reach out for more detail.
